A Few Short Words About Recent Times on Medium
Forgive me if this begins to sound harsh;
Writing on Medium almost feels like an unwinnable game. You come up with an idea that you can write about with confidence. Something like iPhones, Smartphones, or some sort of technology.
I like iPhones, I like Android phones, and I miss my BlackBerry. Remember when I wrote about my BlackBerry?
You spend a solid day or so writing about the topic you’ve come up with, with Grammarly questioning your intelligence, and outlines questioning your stamina.
You finish your story, post it on ALL OF THE SOCIAL MEDIA only to realize that medium may or may not pay you a $500 bonus at the end of the month.
Hoping that you get some sort of reads, likes, or appreciation for the piece, you then realize that people get more likes when they write about the one million different ways to become more productive, earn thousands of dollars on Medium, and cook an omelet while traveling across the Sahara Desert.
