First things first, I’m a Banker by day, and Technologist wannabe by night. I assist people with their finances, lending, credit, and the like, by day. By night, I answer questions for people who need help with their kit. (By kit, I mean like phones, computers, tablets, TVs, everything). I’m what you call a Jill of all trades? Who knows.

What I’ve learned so far in my attempt at being a Technologist, is that I have crazy problems with being productive, and even crazier problems with my levels of focus and, deep work. Sometimes, I’m nothing but a lady in the clouds. However, working from home is going to become a bit more (not completely, I still have to work most days) of a possibility. That’s what happens in a national emergency, y’all. Lets see what happens as I try to become a more productive person in work, life, and what I like to call, life-school (we’re lifetime learners after all…I guess?)

First Edit: 6:49AM Monday, March 16, 2020: The sheer fact that I got up to write something in here is pretty mesmerizing in opinion, and the fact that I managed enough time to do this before 7AM is double amazing in my own right. This weeks goals: 1. Consistency in updating this story on Medium 2. Testing out an iOS App called 24me (see twentyfour.me) 3. Organizing some work files at work, to prep for when they possibly boot us out at work. I tried to prep for my medical leave back in late January early February…that was amazingly bad. I’d say comment below if you have ever even HEARD of 24me, but only if you want to comment. No Pressure.

Here’s a tip when it comes to doing any work from home. Set up a schedule. Or set up a valiant effort of a schedule. You’ve now been told that you can work remotely. Odds are, your schedule just because a bit more “flexible”. If you are a bit of a wobbly person like I am, and you don’t set some sort of schedule, then you’ll spend more time taking more naps (a nap is not a bad idea, 20 hours worth of naps may be a bit troublesome) and playing more video games (video game breaks are ok! Spending your work day playing video games…not so much) then you had anticipated.

Anyway, good luck folks. Or, wish me luck maybe?
