I’ve journeyed into Podcast Territory
So Far, So Good
We’re still pretty heavy into the COVID-19 pandemic. With that, I’ve spent more time to myself. I thankfully still have a job where I am an essential employee (the perks of working at a bank), but aside from going to work, I spend more time to myself these days. I’ve been listening to some more podcasts lately to pass the time by.
If you are unsure what a podcast is, just remember how podcasts made their debut (sort of) around the iPod days. Those were pretty good days I think. Podcasts are available for just about every topic that you can think of. Literally, every single topic that you can think of.
Lately, I’ve been going down this journey of self improvement. I started taking an IT class on Coursera in my mornings, I’ve been utilizing Notion to attempt to organize my life, and I’ve been listening to podcasts on productivity in my spare time.
I’ve been listening to some “life building podcasts”, cyber security podcasts, and podcasts where it almost seems like people spend 2 hours talking about exactly nothing. I quite enjoy talking for approximately 2 hours listening to exactly nothing. I’m pretty good at it myself. You can only really listen to podcasts by using a Podcast app of some sort. Sure, you can always go through the website hosting the podcast, but we like to work smarter, not harder, when it comes to simple things here at the Homie’s Post.
