Thoughts after 7 Months Writing on Medium

Hi Friends,

I’ve been bumping around with writing on Medium for 7 months. I’ve had some rough articles, and I’ve had some articles that I am proud of.

I’ve had a few articles in larger publications, and recently, a slew of articles in a publication that I guess disbanded, but that’s another story for another day.

Overall, I’ve had a lovely time writing on Medium. The process has helped me grow from the writer that was berated throughout high school into the person who might not be such a terrible writer after all. I’m pretty happy about the turn of events.

Aside from all of the joy I’ve celebrated from this experience, I have some thoughts.

Should we be putting as much of a focus on ‘Going Viral?’
